 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe

Hyundai has recently dropped two images that revealed the appearance of the upcoming 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. This move from the Korean auto maker has surprised not only the buying public but a lot of car experts in the US automobile industry as well. This is because the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe was scheduled to make its official debut in the first week of April at the 2012 New York Auto Show. Due to this, many car experts are currently formulating their own observations regarding the changes that Hyundai has implemented on this SUV. Unfortunately, these observations are quite limited since Hyundai has only released two images and these are presently regarded as the model's teasers.

Hyundai considers the Santa Fe as one of the company's bestselling model since they have been selling about 75,000 units of this for the past few years and this was probably one of the main reasons why Hyundai is doing its best to upgrade and implement the most appropriate upgrades on the vehicle. The Hyundai Santa Fe certainly needs a number of upgrades since most of its closest competitors are getting the best refinements and in order to stay on top, the 2013 version should be introduced with a lot of exciting and useful features.

Based on the teasers that were released by Hyundai, the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe obtained a few revisions in its exterior design. The upcoming version looks more athletic, meaner and more daring compared to the 2012 model. Aside from that, the 2013 model flaunts the company's latest concept design which is commonly referred to as the "fluidic sculpture."

The newly released images of the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe also revealed the revisions that were done on the vehicle's front and rear areas. The rear and front bumpers of the upcoming model were obviously wider than those that are found on the outgoing version. The 2013 edition's fascia also obtained the company's hexagonal grille while its sides were adorned by new character lines that illustrate the new direction where most of Hyundai's SUV models from Hyundai are going.

But aside from the minor changes on the vehicle's exterior design, a lot of car experts are also expecting that the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe would be offered with two or three engine options particularly the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that pumps out about 175 horsepower or the larger 276 horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine. In addition to this, there is also a great possibility that Hyundai would be replacing the V-6 engine that was used on the 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe with the 2.0-liter or 3.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Unfortunately, these possibilities will only remain as logical assumptions for now since Hyundai refuses to comment on these. However, all of these expectations and speculations will surely be verified as soon as the vehicle's official debut is finished.
